
Short biography
Richard Skalt is Advocacy Manager at TÜV SÜD‘s Cybersecurity Office, Vice-Chair of the AIQI Consortium and Advocacy Workstream Lead at the Charter of Trust. Prior to joining TÜV SÜD, he worked as a manager at ESMT Berlin’s Digital Society Institute, and held various positions at the German Council on Foreign Relations (DGAP), the University of Munich and Check Point Software Technologies. Richard is a political scientist by training with expertise in cybersecurity, tech policy, and research on critical infrastructure protection and AI. He graduated from the Double Degree Master Program in Political Science at Stockholm University (SU) and Ludwig Maximilian University (LMU) Munich.
